Following are some of the professions that require continuing education courses to stay licensed or certified:

Lawyers, Teachers, Accountants, Engineers, Pilots, Physicians, Nurses, Psychologists, Architect, Pharmacists, Social Workers. The thing is, if you have to take courses, you should at least get value from them. That's the objective of our micro-learning courses. They are chosen to provide useful life skills for those who take them, but they don't require the rigor of a standard college course (assignments, quizzes, etc.).

Micro learning courses are based on a book and are like a book club in that they meet weekly for four weeks, covering assigned chapters each week. They also provide a discussion forum seeded by your facilitator/instructor to help you get the most from your experience with the book and the group.

Each micro course will meet for 60 minutes weekly for four weeks, so that you receive 4 PDHs (Professional Development Hours) for participation, which is ideal for Social Workers, CPAs, and other professions that need continuing education credits. You will receive a certificate of participation for each study group in which you participate.

Discussion groups will be hosted on Zoom and you will be logged in and out by the system, thus validating your attendance at sessions.

A summary report will be required from each participant consisting of a one-page document in MS Word format, uploaded to the LMS (Learning Management System).

If you have questions, please submit them using the messaging system on the campus.

Napoleon Hill spent a quarter century researching the methods used by the nation's richest individuals and determined that there were 13 principles that, when followed, would almost guarantee that a person could duplicate their success.

Over the years, I have read much of the literature on wealth-building and attended weekend workshops that cost me $1100 tuition plus hotel and travel expenses, and I can say with certainty that Napoleon Hill got it right in his book.

What I have learned is that the application of these principles can be enhanced by using methods from neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), for which I am a certified practitioner, as well as having a Ph.D. in psychology. In this month-long course, I'll help you learn how to continuing to apply the principles until you succeed. Well worth the time and few dollars you spend, when you consider that most courses charge well over 1000 dollars.

The Art of Possibility is based on the book by Zander and Zander. It is an excellent book written by the clinical psychologist Rosamund Zander and her Boston Symphonic Conductor Benjamin Zander, and presents lessons on how to respond to life's challenges to get the most from life.

Your facilitator will give you suggestions on how to implement the various approaches using techniques from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). These methods are not presented in the book, so this is the facilitator's contribution to your learning experience.

You will benefit greatly from the ideas presented by the authors of the book. Their suggestions are time-tested both in therapeutic situations and Ben's orchestral work with young students. A book for a lifetime of enrichment.

Based on a book by Fritjof Capra, the contents are a series of interviews which the young physicist conducted with individuals like psychiatrist R.D. Laing, J. Krishnamurti, Gregory Bateson, Stanislaf Grof, and others.

I first read this book shortly after it was published and continue to see it as one of the great books of the 20th Century.
